The City of Glendale brings to light the inhumanities throughout the world during the annual Week of Remembrance. During this week, various schools, organizations, and religious groups acknowledge the prejudice and division of the past and celebrate the strong partnerships and unity flourishing in the Glendale community.
The Armenian Genocide Commemorative Event will feature multiple traditional Armenian dance & musical performances by local students, and keynote speaker Maurice-Missack Kelechian. Tickets to the event are free (limit 4 per person) and will be available at the Alex Theatre, the Americana at Brand Concierge Services and Glendale Community College. The program begins at 7pm with doors opening at 6:30pm. Tickets are available online at www.alextheatre.org.
