The Sunroom Desk editor didn’t just read other outlets’ news reports (Under the Paperweight) to get Glendale Congressman Adam Schiff’s interpretation of Massachusetts’ election results and his opinion on the Senate health care bill.
I asked his office specifically about both, by phone and via email, twice, last week. (News-Press, LA Times, and LA Daily News reporters probably did this as well.)
Schiff replied by congratulating Senator Scott Brown and added only, “It wasn’t the result I was hoping for, but I look forward to working with him to address the economic challenges we face. In these times of economic adversity, we need to find ways to work together to create jobs, reform health care and get the country moving in the right direction.”
