Does the Glendale Public Library budget have any funds for repair of its auditorium sound system?
I’ve been to three events recently at the Central Library (posts featuring them in links):
• the Center for Armenian Remembrance event,
• the City Council Candidates’ Forum sponsored by Unified Young Armenians, and
• last night’s City Council Candidates’ Forum sponsored by GHCC (post to follow!)
At each event, sound system dysfunctions were a distraction. Last night moderator Will Rogers commented on the system “feedback.”
I’m grateful Glendale has a centrally-located meeting room in its main library where the public can gather to hear about important cultural and political issues. I hope funds can be found to upgrade or repair the sound system so that it reflects a high-tech, transparent, and forward-thinking city culture!
