Man’s Inhumanity to Man Panel Discussion on Human Trafficking and Modern Day Slavery

2014MIMEventsAs part of Glendale’s week of commemoration, Man’s Inhumanity to Man, this panel discussion on human trafficking and modern day slavery is intended to educate the community about human trafficking by providing information on the types of human trafficking, how to identify it, where to report it, resources for victims, and gaps in resources for those interested in helping.

Speaking on the panel will be experts and advocates D’Lita Miller, Dr. Stephany Powell, Lesford Duncan, and Ana Cody. Anna Cho Fenley, Program Director of the Anti-Recidivism Coalition will be moderating.

The event is co-sponsored by the Man’s Inhumanity to Man Committee, YWCA of Glendale, National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, UN Women, and the City of Glendale Community Services and Parks Department.
