Sincere thanks to all the organizers, and special mention to the Life 100 Committee, Live Talks Los Angeles, the City of Glendale and Glendale’s Library Arts and Culture Department, for organizing programs in the city of Glendale:

The Life 100 exhibit of post-genocide Armenian Masters and new artists at the Brand Library Gallery. This exclusive exhibit is on display March 7 – April 30, during which the Library will host several related programs.

Remembering the Armenian Genocide, a series of events, exhibits and lectures at Glendale Community College, March 26 – April 23.

Presentation of the English translation of The Youth Home of Istanbul, recounting Hrant Guzelian’s search and rescue of Islamized Armenian youth and the orphanage he founded for them. (Hrant Dink, the Armenian journalist assassinated in Istanbul, was raised there.) Presented by the Joint Armenian Genocide Centennial Committee of the Armenian Evangelical Union of North American and the Armenian Missionary Association of America at The Armenian Society of Los Angeles, April 7.

What the World Witnessed A Century Ago Skirball center exhibit, plus evening lectures, April 8, 9 and 10.

UCLA’s Genocide and Global History Conference, April 10-11.

Historic Armenia After 100 Years, Glendale Central Library book presentation by author Michael Karanian April 16.

The Hammer Museum’s I Am Armenian – a year of Armenian culture and history on film, plus related programs including a panel discussion and concerts. Upcoming screenings April 14 and May 14.

Beast on the Moon, presented by the Hoover High School Drama Department, an award-winning play by Richard Kalinoski about the transformation of two survivors of the Armenian Genocide. Sunday April 19th at 7 pm at the ARTN Theater in Glendale. Additional performances at Hoover High School on April 16, 17, 18, 21 at 7 pm.

100 Years of Denial: I Remember and Demand, presented by the high school Armenian Clubs of the Glendale Unified School District, in the John Wayne Performing Arts Center of Glendale High School, April 21.

Lark Musical Society’s series of programs, including a joint concert with UCLA at Royce Hall, Armenian Requiem, April 22.

March for Justice, April 24.

Unveiling of the Pasadena Armenian Genocide Martyrs’ Monument in Pasadena on April 25.

City of Glendale Armenian Genocide Centennial Commemoration, Alex Theatre, April 26.

Live Talks Los Angeles brings Eric Bogosian, actor, playwright and novelist, and author of Operation Nemesis:
