Marketing professional Lynne Graves has launched Plan Ahead Events Pasadena & The Foothills, after 25 years as an accomplished sales and marketing professional and volunteer in the nonprofit sector. Graves is channeling her talents, energy and passion into her new business venture.
She introduced her new business at a local event last month, and is hosting a Glendale Business Showcase at the new Icis Apartment Homes January 21.
With a track record for networking, building alliances and partnerships as well as developing marketing strategies that enhance the bottom line and deliver exceptional outcomes, Graves’ skills are assets for her new endeavor. She is a member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and has served on the boards of the Glendale Area Alumnae Pan-Hellenic; Southern California Council Alumnae Pan-Hellenics; LCPC Parent Education; and National Charity League, Inc., Glendale Chapter (serving Twelve Oaks Retirement Lodge, Ascencia, Salvation Army, YWCA Glendale, and Children’s Hospital). She is also a member of the PTA, Girl Scouts, Alpha Delta Pi, Booster Club, Club Team Sports. She holds a BA in Communications and Sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
“I am at a point in my life and in my career when I want to run my own company,” Graves said. “ After years of planning corporate networking events, sales seminars, trade shows, fundraisers and galas, having my own event management business allows me to offer my unique combination of skills and talents to customers of all types.”
