Yesterday’s trip to replace and recycle a car battery was easy: no traffic, plenty of parking in the Sears Auto Center lot on the north side of California. Looking toward the northeast corner of Central Ave., now cleared for construction, I figured my next trip for a new battery would be different. Today’s Glendale News-Press lists several buildings going up in the area: four are within three blocks of the Sears complex. Driving and parking in this area is bound to get more difficult.
