California’s elimination of redevelopment has adversely affected Glendale Clean & Beautiful operations, making it necessary to cancel the the city’s annual ‘Summer Night on the Plaza’ and the ‘My Hometown’ photo contest.
The nonprofit organization has found sponsors for a silent auction fundraiser on Thursday, August 16, to help preserve programs such as the Great American Clean Up and the ‘I Love My Neighborhood’ Poster Contest. Check out the Calendar listing or the city webpage to sponsor, participate, or attend.
