Salvation Army Food Drive This Saturday
in Northwest Glendale: Shelves Are Empty!

Two neighborhood groups will help New Life Christian Church stock the Salvation Army’s Food Pantry with a drop-off donation event scheduled Saturday, April 23, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The Northwest Glendale Homeowners Association and the Kenneth Village Merchants Association are co-sponsoring the food drive at the church, which hosted a document shredding event for them last fall.

Help restock empty shelves at the Salvation Army Food Pantry. Support these local organizations, and a Glendale neighborhood church, and feed needy families in the Glendale area.

Items to bring:
Canned vegetables and fruits
Chunky canned soups
Tuna (6 oz cans or smaller)
Dry pinto beans (1 lb or 2 lb bags)
Rice – white or brown (1 lb or 2 lb bags)
Spaghetti or pasta (1 lb or 2 lb bags)
Peanut butter
Plain spaghetti sauce (no glass containers!)

Drop off your donations in the church parking lot, 1020 W. Kenneth Road. Enter on Kenneth. For information contact Pastor Dave at (818) 568-6204 or dave@nlc2.com.

  1. This was a great event for a worthy cause! I had a wonderful time working with Pastor Dave Watanabe and other members of the New Life Church. The Northwest Glendale Homeowners Association hopes to make this an annual event.
