Bullying, the state system of school finance (another form of arbitrary violence?), and the community college master plan are all subjects of upcoming community forums in Glendale. Attend one or all to learn about issues facing local educators and what students and the larger community can do:

Bully Me Not! features presentations from experts and a question and answer session on bullying in the schools, in the community, online, in sports, and more.

Community Forum on Public Education is hosted by the PTAs of Glendale, Burbank, Pasadena, and South Pasadena and surrounding communities to present facts on how California funds its schools, the budget from Sacramento, “Program Improvement” (a feature of No Child Left Behind) and how it is affecting schools, and what most California school districts are now facing.
