Last Thursday’s Glendale Latino Association Mixer featured Army of Pink candidate Chief Ron DePompa, who spoke simply and eloquently about fighting cancer. The informal event, sponsored by the Downtown Glendale Merchants Association and Glendale Arts, was a preview of the Army in Pink campaign kick-off reception to be held this Thursday at the Alex Theatre with all seven candidates.
Salsa musicians played on the upper level of the Alex Theatre lobby.
In addition to great food catered by Dockside Grill, Porto’s Bakery delivered a beautiful pink cake for dessert.
