Count Pedestrians and Bicyclists, or Walk with a Team: Two Great Volunteer Opportunities in Glendale

Two outdoor, healthy and health-promoting one-shot volunteer opportunities for Glendale residents:

Count pedestrians and bicyclists for two hours at key Glendale intersections for the Safe and Healthy Streets program. Data from the count will be compared to last year’s count (which was a lot of fun!). Start at the Glendale Safe and Healthy Streets website to get more information and register.

OR

Walk around a track to raise funds for cancer research at Scholl Canyon Baseball Fields during the October 2-3 24-hour Relay for Life. Go to the Relay for Life website to sign up, create a team, or sponsor the event.
