Residents adjacent to a Van Nuys church protested too late to stop installation of a T-Mobile cell site in the church’s rear parking lot, within a few feet of homes (behind the tall hedge). The group “maintain[s] that adequate cell coverage already exists, with seven T-Mobile cell phone towers within 1.5 miles of the church,” while “a T-Mobile spokesman said the demand for cell and wireless use has increased the need for towers.”

T-MOBILE is attempting to install a similar type of antenna on our street. They began work and are now finishing the vault. We need your help in learning how to fight T-Mobile from taking over all of our neighborhoods in search for profits.

T-Mobile Tower will be placed on Kwis and Kennard. Less than 300 Feet from Manzanita Park and Kwis Elementary school,in Hacienda Heights.We learned that only 51 postcards were mailed to last recorded homeowners in the 500 Ft radius of tower. Even though Kwis Elementary has 362 students. WE learned they have other locations but like Kwis and Kennard the best. The Hacienda La Puente school district has paid for an appeal. We are now waiting for NEW Meeting and Hearing!! We must not let it pass this time!
