Election Day Is Tuesday, April 13

Counting down: the 43rd Assembly District seat special election will be held next Tuesday, April 13. Be an informed and active voter!

Informed: instead of reviewing negative mailers, listen to candidates respond to serious questions about the state budget and other issues. Burbank TV6 (Channel 16 for Glendale Charter subscribers) is rebroadcasting the March 24 League of Women Voters Candidates Forum several times over the next few days. Those without cable can watch Burbank TV via the livestream during the same broadcast times –
Thursday, April 8, noon
Friday, April 9 – midnight
Friday, April 9 – 4 p.m.
Saturday, April 10 – 10 p.m.

(Burbank TV6 Schedule Page here. Check for broadcast times after Saturday.)

Also, read the interviews Sunroom Desk conducted with candidates Nayiri Nahabedian, Sunder Ramani, and Mike Gatto (Chahe Keuroghelian did not respond to an interview invitation).

Active: Take a walk to your polling place to cast your vote. Mailing in a ballot can’t compare to the patriotic lift of gathering with fellow citizens to decide on our representation. As former Glendale city council candidate Aramazd Stepanian urged, “Show politicians that you are alive and active!”
