GOACT Issues Revised Report to Residents
Approving Proposed Wireless Ordinance

Glendale Organized Against Cell Towers issued a revised report recommending support of Glendale’s wireless ordinance following the city’s announcement of a staff-proposed addendum to the wireless ordinance.

City Council will review the ordinance at its regular meeting tomorrow, April 6, 2010, in temporary city council chambers at 633 E. Broadway, Room 105, Glendale.

The proliferation of public right-of-way installations of wireless facilities have been troubling for communities around the country. San Francisco is currently attempting to impose regulations such as those Glendale has drafted, while Los Angeles hasn’t yet addressed residents’ concerns with a moratorium or review of its policies.
