17th Annual Glendale Cruise Night and a Guinness Book Challenge!

This year will mark the 50th Anniversary of Chubby’s Worldwide Number One hit The Twist which was also the only song of the rock era to re-enter the charts and return to the Number One position.

…In honor of the 50th Anniversary of The Twist, Glendale officials also announced that the City will attempt to set a Guinness Book of World Record having the most people doing the twist during a given time.

The current record is 1,691 which was set in April 2004.

Over 450 pre-1979 classic cars and trucks will be on display plus games and activities for the children. Entry forms available via the city webpage or call the Community Hotline at (818) 548-6464 for updates.
