Saturday Previews: Library Book Sale,
Adult Recreation Center

Friends of the Glendale Library held a hour-long preview book sale for members at 9 a.m. Saturday, before the public book sale commenced at 10 a.m. Hardcovers were $.50, paperbacks were $.25 – I walked away with a large bag of books for $3.

An unscreened fence next to the library parking lot allowed a preview of Glendale’s Adult Recreation center, taking final shape:
