Among Doctor’s Tips for Lowering Cancer Risk:
Avoid Cell Phones

“Cell phones might be the cigarettes of the 21st century,” said Dr. David Servan-Schreiber, interviewed last week by Patt Morrison on KPCC. The interview focused on diet, lifestyle, and other ways to avoid cancer risks.

Dr. Servan-Schreiber is himself a brain cancer survivor, and discussed the current research on linkages between cell phone radiation and cancer, “a difficult topic, but let me tell you what is very clear…studies that examine ten years or more of cell phone use…those show a doubling of brain cancer.”

His comments above can be heard half-way through the interview. Other tips from the interview: lower sugar intake, reduce stress, and get more exercise.
