Partamian Celebrates Notable Armenian-Americans

Armenian talk show host Stepan Partamian will discuss his book Yes, We Have, a celebration of contributions made by American-Armenians to the United States of America since 1800, at a Friends of the Glendale Public Library event next Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at 7 p.m.

As with all the wonderful Friends of the Glendale Public Library events, admission is free, so don’t miss out.

From the first Armenian settler in the Jamestown Colony to Peter Paul Halajian, the inventor of the “Mounds” candy bar, to Asadour Sarafian, the inventor of the helicopter transmission, Partamian has found Armenian entrepreneurs and inventors throughout this country’s history, and has
dedicated his book to future generations who will continue to contribute their talents to the USA.
