At Tuesday night’s city council meeting, Laura Friedman thanked Damon’s, the Alex Theatre, and Massage Envy for providing generous gift certificates to Safe and Healthy Streets volunteers who counted bicyclists and pedestrians. (I used my Damon’s gift certificate on Sunday.)
Following the successful baseline counts at key intersections all over the city, Safe and Healthy Streets has scheduled a series of fall community meetings to share results and invite citizen input.
These meetings are for anyone and everyone who lives or works in Glendale! Coordinator Colin Bogart is encouraging maximum attendance to hear opinions, thoughts, and experiences.
