Foothills Artist Karen Winters at
Redondo Beach Artwalk
I missed the Montrose Summer 2009 Art Walks, so I was pleased to see Karen Winters‘ schedule listing Redondo Beach Art by the Sea on September 13, the same day I had planned to be at the beach! I found her on the international boardwalk, painting:
A selection of Winters’ works, including landscapes of foothill areas recently burned, opened at the McGroarty Arts Center in Tujunga on September 11.

Hi! Great seeing you again yesterday at Redondo, and thanks for the pic and blog post. I was up at McGroarty today (Monday), gallery sitting for our show, and painting the beautiful mountain range from the deck of McGroarty Arts Center. Our show runs through Sat, Sept 19. I’ll post the new painting on my blog once I take a picture of it.
