Smaller Glendale Stations Shift Mail Handling to
San Fernando Facility

Mail sorting, certified mail deliveries, and mail holds for some neighborhood post offices, including the North Pacific Station, recently shifted to Glendale’s Grand Central Station at 6444 San Fernando Road.

The North Pacific Station renewed its lease, but business is down and local carrier routes have been changed as a result. The administrative functions for mail delivered to 91202 and other satellite station zip codes in Glendale were transferred to the San Fernando Road facility a few months ago.

Your mail may not be waiting for you at your neighborhood post office when you get back from vacation! If you have your mail held and are in the habit of stopping by at the local post office to pick it up, be sure to let them know ahead of time when you will be coming. The San Fernando facility needs a day to transfer mail to satellite stations.
