More Neighborhood Options for
Glendale’s ‘National Night Out’ 1

Glendale Parks, Recreation and Community Services Division is holding a training session for citizens and community groups interested in putting together a neighborhood event for National Night Out. The session will be held Thursday, May 14, at 7:30 p.m. at Police Department Headquarters. The division has already worked out a streamlined process for community groups who want to hold an event in a public park.

The South Glendale Partnership already started planning its August 4 National Night Out event, but the Glendale Police Department encourages every neighborhood district of Glendale to host its own event for the occasion.

Volunteers and neighborhood groups are especially needed this year because the city may not have as much (or any!) money for these events as in the past.
