on March WARN Layoff List
Laid Off Nation posted the March WARN list of 107 California employers who plan layoffs within 60 days. Disney Consumer Products and Nestle USA were the two Glendale-based employers on the list. The WARN (California Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification) Act requires certain employers to give affected employees at least 60 days advance written notice of an intended plant closing or mass layoff, and to notify the California Employment Development Department.
