Glendale Cell Site Fight Is Not Over!

Several Glendale residents have congratulated GOACT committee members on their success in preventing a cell site installation on Cumberland Road.

Congratulations are premature!

While T-Mobile did withdraw its application to build a site at that specific location, the fight to keep cell sites out of Glendale neighborhoods is not over. T-Mobile had at least three other applications pending; some in residential neighborhoods. GOACT just learned yesterday of a planned installation at Maple Park.

The city of Glendale has extended its cell site moratorium for four months while it researches laws and drafts a solid ordinance that will restrict installations in residential areas.

Calling out to all Glendale residents affected by proposed installations: go to GOACT’s website www.getthecelloutofhere.com for details on our fight, and to establish contact with committee members and share information.
