The Glendale homeowner group forums mentioned in my last post are a great opportunity to hear city council candidates, but time constraints prevent these forums from including school board and Glendale Community College board candidates.
I just heard that the Glendale Council PTA has invited school board candidates to a March 5 forum. Sunroom Desk will publish details as soon as I find them – almost no information is available on the district website.
One umbrella organization forum, though, doesn’t compare to the effect and outreach that a host of PTA events would have throughout the community. I don’t remember ever hearing about a school board forum sponsored by individual school PTAs. If there are such upcoming local PTA-hosted events, please send details in so Sunroom Desk can publish them for the community.
