Thank you to Tropico Station for highlighting the dangers pedestrians face in our car-crash prone city, and for reprinting the News Press letter to the editor recommending stiff penalties for drivers who endanger lives.
Pedestrian intervals are a great idea. But as Sunroom Desk posted last week, penalties harsh enough to impress careless drivers need to be a big part of any traffic safety plan Glendale implements.
